All classes and workshops are designed to create a safe space where each participant will feel supported and trust that they will be acknowledged and respected by the class or workshop leaders and other participants.

  • This small class invites girls to move, express, trust, and have fun to decrease stress and anxiety and connect creatively with other pre-teen girls. Each class will have a different theme that may include movement games, playful yoga poses, breathing exercises, sensory play, guided imagery for relaxation, and brainstorming to create poems and artwork, individually and together.

  • This class for teen girls is about moving, expressing, trusting, and having fun to decrease stress and anxiety and connect creatively with other teen girls.The class begins with yoga based guided movement that invites participants to follow along or choose their own movement. Movement is followed by art making either individually or as a group. Art projects focus on themes that engage participants in self discovery, self expression, and opportunities to make connections with other class participants.

    Art materials and yoga mats are provided but participants are also welcome to bring their own.

    Class size 4-8. Six classes per session.

  • After you drop the kids off at school or camp, come to your own class. This small class begins with gentle warm-up yoga based movement, followed by theme based art making. No yoga or art experience is necessary! Creatively explore and express yourself and/or connect with others. Each class will conclude with brief guided relaxation meditation. Parent classes are designed to have opportunities to create, de-stress, connect, and relax. Coffee, tea,and water will be provided.

  • A group focusing on the four key domains of self-care; emotional,physical, psychological, and spiritual well-being.

    Self-care involves focusing on yourself and taking time to rest, reflect, replenish, and renew. Exploring topics like self-compassion, balance, boundaries, and resources. Using the creative and intuitive tools of yoga and the expressive arts to uncover, release and befriend parts of our self.

    No prior yoga or art experience necessary. Shy people welcome.

  • Playback Theater A2 is a drop-in improvisation group for adults that works within the main frame of the Playback Theater concept: sharing and enacting stories that the participants bring to the group. We are not a social theater group, we simply choose a theme for the evening, create and provide a playful space for participants to come and share, listen, and enact their personal stories in a supportive and fun place. No previous theater experience necessary. All storytellers welcome!

    Saturday, February 3, 10am-Noon

    Family Trees Workshop.

    This workshop is designed for families, but you choose who you call family. We will make books, playing off the idea of the traditional family tree, creating pages with images of trees using collage, paint, and drawing materials and writing stories. At the end, all pages will be compiled into a book with wood covers that each family will take home.

    Every family group must include at least one adult. Minimum age for children is 6 years old. There is no maximum age!

    Fee-$20. per person. Registration in advance is required. Workshop is limited to 12 particpants.

  • Workshops are designed to use movement, sound, and artmaking in ways that make it easy, comfortable, and fun for everyone to participate, (No experience at all required!) for the purpose of inspiring creativity and connections with family, friends, and others.

    Creatively Connecting Chains

    This workshop is designed for friend and family groups, so invite a couple or a few friends or family members to join you for a creative Saturday morning activity! This workshop will warm-up with some easy seated movement and sound to explore the idea of connecting. Afterwards, we will use collage, stamping, paint, and drawing materials to decorate paper strips and create large paper chains. At the end, each person may take home their chain links or the group might choose to keep their paper chain together.

    Every friend or family group must include at least one adult. Minimum group size is 2. Minimum age for children is 6 years old. There is no maximum age!

    Fee-$18 per person. Registration in advance is required. Workshop is limited to 12 particpants.

  • This small class gently guides you through yoga based movement and mindful breathing to decrease stress and increase relaxation, self awareness, and self empowerment. No yoga experience needed. Come as you are! Bring your own yoga mat or we have mats and blankets to share. Class size is limited to 8.

    Mondays, 3:30 - 4:15. $10/class or $50/ 6 week session.
